UVI RTPARK EXPANDS GLOBAL FOOTPRINT THROUGH PARTNERSHIP WITH INTERNATIONAL ACCELERATOR, BRINC The UVI Research and Technology Park (RTPark) announced on Tuesday its cross-promotion partnership with Brinc, an internationally recognized technology accelerator program, in an effort to build a global network of support for RTPark clients to tap into and expose international tech firms to the benefits and opportunities available in the Territory. The partnership with Brinc represents the RTPark’s first win to emerge from their East Asia trade mission this past March.

RTPARK PARTNERS WITH NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL TO EXPAND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN THE TERRITORY ST. CROIX - The UVI Research and Technology Park (RTPark) announced on Monday that is has entered into a technical assistance contract with the National Development Council (NDC) to support, develop, and assist in the implementation of economic and community development programs, and also to prepare proposals to access the dollars necessary to expand access to capital for technology-based firms, as well as other businesses and projects that would strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Research and Technology Park, called the RT Park, has launched two programs aimed at advancing economic development in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The first, an accelerator program that provides help to tech startups in the territory, will launch later this year with six companies, five of which are locally-owned.

UVI RTPARK WELCOMES FOUR NEW COMPANIES INTO ITS PROGRAM AND TO THE USVI TECH COMMUNITY ST. CROIX - The University of the Virgin Islands Research and Technology (RTPark) Board of Directors announced the approval of four new companies which have entered the organization’s program after review at recent executive committees in December and most recently on Wednesday, February 27, 2019.
