RTPark Hosts Tech-Focused Business Attraction Summit Highlighting Benefits of Working in the Territory

ST. CROIX - The UVI Research and Technology Park (RTPark) published their inaugural annual report on Tuesday detailing the organization’s accomplishments and activities throughout the 2021 fiscal year. The comprehensive report provides updates on existing RTPark programs as well as the announcement of new programs, projects and initiatives launched in 2021. ACCELERATE VI AWARDED $50,000 SBA GRANT TO SUPPORT BUILDING TECH ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE USVI ST. CROIX - The UVI Research and Technology Park (RTPark) announced on Friday that their tech accelerator program, Accelerate VI, was selected as a winner of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2021 Growth Accelerator Fund Competition (GAFC).

APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR THE THIRD COHORT OF USVI BASED TECH STARTUP ACCELERATOR, ACCELERATE VI ST. CROIX - The University of the Virgin Island’s (UVI) Research and Technology Park (RTPark) announced today that applications are now open for the 2021 cohort of Accelerate VI (AVI), a startup accelerator which supports the growth of the local tech ecosystem by helping tech entrepreneurs scale their businesses in the USVI. The program seeks to attract companies not only in the territory, but also regionally, nationally, and beyond.

The USVI Research and Technology Park Receives Excellence in Economic Development Award from the International Economic Development Council The U.S. Virgin Islands Research and Technology Park Corporation (RTPark) – an independent affiliate of the University of the Virgin Islands—this week received the International Economic Development Council’s Economic Development Organization (EDO) of the Year award. The honor was presented at an awards ceremony during the IEDC Annual Conference, which gathers over 1,400 economic development professionals from around the country.
